Cultural information: The "Common European Globeflower" is a clump forming perennial. Late spring to early summer it bears large 2" lemon yellow flowers. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well worked, moist or boggy fertile soil. Trollius europaeus has one hybrid cultivar in it's family called 'Superbus'. It has large 4" yellow flowers on 24" plants.

Most of the hybrids of Trollius cultorum are also fine bog or marginal plants.
