Cultural information: "Toad Lily" is a clump forming perennial. It produces unique, white Orchid like flowers during late summer to early fall. Plant in partial to full shade in compost rich, moist or boggy soils.

Breeders have developed three hybrid cultivars. Keep an eye out for 'Miyazaki' which sports white flowers spotted with purple on 36" plants, 'Variegata' has gold variegated foliage, and 'White Towers' has white flowers on 24" plants.
