Cultural information: "Arrow Arum" is a big leafy plant that is much to large for container gardening or small ponds. They prefer to be planted directly in the substrate of the pond. Plant in large groups for best effect. Set rhizomes or pre-started plants in early spring at the ponds edge or directly in the pond at a maximum depth of 10". It is difficult to achieve a showy effect with "Arrow Arum" when grow in pond baskets. Remove any dead or dying foliage and flowers as it appears.

Your local Garden Center should have Peltandra virginica available during the spring.
