Cultural information: "Water Violets" are related to "Primrose". They spend most of their life suspended just below the surface of the water. Their beautiful flowers will rise above the waters surface during the summer. "Water Violets" can be over wintered indoors in a greenhouse pond or brightly lit... half filled aquarium. Remove dead or dying foliage and flowers as they appear.
