Cultural information: "Water Moss" is a true moss that may be winter hardy at low elevations. "Water Moss" attaches itself to rocks or other objects in the bottom of the pond. When purchasing new plants... look for stems that are already attached to a stone. Pieces of the plant can be tied to stones or other weights using fishing line.

Place weighted sections of the plant directly into the pond during spring. "Water Moss" likes full sun... but tolerates light shade. They say that "Water Moss" is better suited to slow moving water. Propagate by removing stems... adding weight and re-submerging.
