Cultural information: "Canadian Pondweed" doubles as an oxygenating aquarium plant or a pond plant. It is a vigorous grower that will require thinning every other season.

"Canadian Pondweed" can be grown in containers topped with gravel and placed 6" to 36" deep, directly in the pond... or place weighted clumps into the pool. Propagate by stem cuttings. During fall buds will sink to the bottom of the pond... re-growing the following season. Plants can also be over wintered in a well lit aquarium. Recommended for medium to large pools.
