Cultural information: Their are about 10 varieties of Ajuga that are suitable for use as a bog plant. Plant them in partial to full shade in moist soils. Hot midday sun will burn the foliage. Ajuga tolerates poor soils quite well. A vigorous spreading groundcover that's easy to keep and divide. Ajuga is also used as edging or borders in the perennial garden. It grows well in containers.
