Ampelopsis aconitifolia
Cultivation: Plant Monkshood Vine in full sun to light shade in well drained soil. "Monkshood Vine" tolerates most soil types quite well. Monkshood Vine requires a trellis or other support structure. 

The finely cut foliage of this quick growing vine is great for creating screens or fences, and covering unsightly walls. Monkshood vine is also useful planted on gazebos and arbors.

During late spring Monkshood Vine will produce insignificant small white flowers that will develop into small orange berries in fall.

Propagation:
Seed is difficult to germinate so it is best to Purchase pre-started Vines at your local Garden Center. Softwood cuttings can be rooted during spring or summer.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Fungal leaf spots or mildews when stressed.
