Cultivation:
Plant in full sun in well drained soil. "Woolly Mullein"
will adapt to most soil types and is very drought tolerant. Space
new container grown plants 24" - 36" apart. "Woolly
Mullien" should
really be considered a biennial. As with most biennials...
Verbascum will self seed. Grows well in containers. Flowers are excellent for cutting.
Propagation:
"Woolly Mullein" is difficult to grow from seed. Purchase
pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established
plants can be divided in spring.
