Cultivation: Plant in full sun in well drained soil. "Prairie Coneflower" adapts to most soil types and tolerates drought well. A native Colorado plant. Flowers are good for cutting and drying.

Propagation:
Seed can be started in a cold frame or greenhouse in early spring, then moved outdoors after danger of frost has passed. For quicker growth... purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, divide plants before their roots become old and woody.
