Perennial Cultivation: Silver Blade Evening Primrose has an unusual flowering habit. The large yellow flowers open late in the day and continue blooming thru the following morning. Each individual flower generally only last about 24 hours, but this easy to grow, hardy perennial will produce flowers for several months.

"Silver Blade™" has the largest flowers of the Oenothera family. It is an excellent choice for dry sunny slopes, rock gardens or borders.

Silver Blade™ Evening Primrose is nearly identical to the Ozark Sundrops except that it has silvery-gray foliage. Plant Silver Blade Evening Primrose in full sun in well drained soil. They tolerate poor soils and drought extremely well.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Space new container grown plants 18" - 24" apart.

Potential pests ~ diseases:
Mildews or root rot if kept to wet.
