Perennial Cultivation: Plant Larkspur in full sun in fertile, well drained soil. Space new container grown plants 30" - 36" apart. Because of the Larkspurs potential height and hollow stems, plant in an area that is sheltered from high winds, or stake the plant.

Delphinium "Blue Bird" is a pacific hybrid and should be considered a biennial. Replant beds every three years. Delphinium flowers are excellent as a cut flower in fresh floral arrangements. 

Most Delphinium varieties are poisonous.

Purchase pre-started Larkspur plants at your local Garden Center.
