Perennial Cultivation: Plant Astilbe in rich soil in partial sun to full shade. Will adapt to full sun if the soil is kept moist. When planted in shade keep the soil on the drier side. Space new container grown Astilbe plants 18" - 36" apart. Astilbe's dislikes having wet feet while dormant. 

Flowers may be cut and used in floral arrangements.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started plants from your local Garden Center. Once established plant may be dug and divided in spring. Re-plant divisions immediately.
