Perennial Cultivation: Bronze Beauty Ajuga is an outstanding groundcover for partial shade or full shade beds. This low growing perennial has dark greenish-purple glossy foliage that reaches a maximum height of six inches. Once established Ajuga spreads fairly quickly covering all available soil.

Small lavender flower spikes appear mid to late spring. When planted in mass the flowers make an awesome display. Spent flowers should be removed to keep the planting looking its best.

Plant Ajuga Bronze Beauty in partial shade in a moist area. Ajuga olerates full shade and poor soils well. The foliage may burn in full sun. This low growing perennial groundcover is great for borders or edging.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started Ajuga Bronze Beauty plants at your local Garden Center. Space transplants any where from 10" to 24" apart depending on how quickly you wish the area to fill in. Once established Ajuga plants may be dug and divided. Stem cuttings can be rooted anytime during the growing season, but it is easier to just divide the plants.
