The plant will start flowering mid summer and continue until the end of the growing season. The reddish-orange flowers are a favorite of both hummingbirds and butterflies. The foliage of Sunset Hyssop is aromatic with a touch of licorice.

Agastache Sunset Hyssop is one of the hardiest Hyssops available. Plant them in well drained soil in full sun. Agastache rupestris tolerates poor soils and high heat quite well. Once established this wonderful perennial dwells and sunshine, heat and dryer conditions. It does not perform well in shady areas or constantly moist soils.
