How long does it take to download
FFCFA?
If you have a broadband internet connection it will only take about 3
minutes to download.
If you have a dialup connection it can take
up to 20 minutes to download depending on your connection speed. Do
I need any special software to use FFCFA?
Yes... you must have Microsoft Excel® installed on your computer.
Microsoft Excel is part of Microsoft Office®. Is
the FFCFA easy to use?
Yes it is... if you can operate a mouse you'll find it very easy to
navigate all six worksheets. Do
I need a password to access FFCFA?
Yes you do. The password will be provided to you on the FFCFA download
page. Please write down your password and keep it in a safe place. Why
is FFCFA password protected?
FFCFA is password protected to help prevent accidental deletion of
the information within the workbook and to prevent editing of the workbook.
FFCFA has been copyrighted with the Library of Congress 2007. Why
is there two password dialogue boxes when I open the FFCFA workbook?
The first
password dialogue box is where you enter the password provided to you on the
download page. The second password dialogue box is for editors of the FFCFA.
Simply click "Read Only" at this point and the workbook will open. Will
FFCFA ever become outdated?
No it won't. FFCFA will be updated annually. Past purchasers of FFCFA will be
sent a link via email once a year to download the newest version of FFCFA
free of charge. The free download link will only be active for 10 days... so
you must download your new version within the specified time period. When
you purchase FFCFA we will ask you for your company name, email address,
city and state. With this information we will be able to notify you when a
new version is available. We
will not give your email address to any other person or company, and we will
never email you except to notify you of your free updated version download
link. What
are the differences between the download FFCFA and the auto-run FFCFA?
There is no difference between the two workbooks. Both options
contain exactly the same information. We have created both options because
some users like to have a backup copy on CD or would prefer not to order on
line. Does the FFCFA
auto-run CD-Rom work on
any Windows computer?
Yes... the FFCFA CD-Rom will run on Windows 98, 98SE, NT, ME,
2000 and XP. It should run on Windows 95... but we can't find a machine to
test it on. You must have Microsoft Excel® to open
and use the workbook. Does the
FFCFA CD-Rom work on Macintosh?
At this time the FFCFA CD-Rom does not run on Macs. How do I start the
FFCFA CD-Rom?
Simply insert the disk into your CD drive and the program will start
automatically. What if I
have Excel and the Auto-Run FFCFA CD-Rom won't start?
Just open My Computer, then double left click your CD drive, then double
left click the FFCFA file. Can
I move the FFCFA workbook from the CD to my computer?
Yes you can. Follow the instructions above to access the workbook.
When the workbook opens click File then Save and save the workbook to the My
Documents folder. What if my
question was not answered here?
