Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: Plant Blue Indian Grass in partial shade in well drained soil. "Blue Indian Grass" is tolerant of most soil types. 

Blue Indian Grasses powder blue foliage will turn golden yellow in the fall. The plant does not like to have wet feet over the winter which isn't much of a problem around here these days.

Propagation:
Seed can be germinated in a cold frame in the early spring. For quicker growth, purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, plants can be dug and divided.
