Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: Plant Red Switch Grass in well drained soil in full sun. "Red Switch Grass" is tolerant to most soil types. 

Remove the old growth in early spring before new growth emerges. Red Switch Grass prefers to not to have constantly wet roots.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once Red Switch Grass is established it may be dug and divided in spring.
