Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: Plant Zebra Maiden Grass in full sun to light shade, in fertile well drained soil. This tall growing grass is tolerant of most soil conditions.

Zebra grass received its common name because of the creamy white spots that develop along the blade.

Remove old growth in early spring before new growth emerges.

Propagation:
Seeds can be sown after danger of hard frost has passed. Trying to grow Zebra Maiden Grass from seed is a very slow process. For quicker growth purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center or greenhouse.
