Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: "Yaku Jima Maiden Grass" is a recent introduction from Japan. It prefers to be planted in full sun in well drained, fertile soil. It is fairly tolerant of dry conditions.

Propagation:
Purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Once established, plants can be dug and divided in the spring.
