Ornamental Grasses Cultivation: "Porcupine Grass" is a very attractive grass due to its golden horizontal banding on the leaves. Reaching a maximum height of 9 foot, Porcupine Grass will require an area with plenty of space.

Plant Porcupine Grass in full sunshine in fertile, well drained soil.

Purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center. Plants can be divided in early spring if you are able to dig it up.
