Japanese Painted Fern
Cultivation: Plant Japanese Painted Fern in a shady location in moist rich soil. It prefers a neutral to acidic soil types. 

For optimum growth work new compost to into the soil around the plant yearly.

Propagation:
"Japanese Painted Ferns" are propagated by spores and division. Purchase pre-started plants at your local Garden Center for the initial planting. Once well established plants can be dug and divided.
