Native to: Madagascar and the Solomon Islands.
Growth habit:
An upright columnar woody bush usually not over 8' in height and 48" in width.
Flowers:
Yes, but unsightly. The flowers should be removed.

Normal indoor temps
Humidity:
Not critical.
Pests: Watch for mealy bug.

Houseplant Cultural information: "Song of Jamaica" is actually a member of the Dracaena family. There are two other similar varieties, "Song of India" and "Malaysian Dracaena".

Care and availability is identical to "Song of India".
