Cultural information: Flowering Kale is the ornamental hybrid form of our common table cabbage that can be grown indoors or outdoors.

Ornamental Kale is used as a temporary indoor flowering house plant to liven up our indoor environment. In the home or office keep your Ornamental Cabbage in a well lit location that does not get excessively hot.

Keep the soil moist, but not soggy... checking for water weekly.
Since Flowering Kale was purchased as a temporary plant it will not require any fertilizer. Once your plant has lost its appeal just discard it and replace it with a new indoor flowering house plant.

Gourmet cooks have used the leaves as a garnish, but we recommend that Ornamental Kale's leaves not be eaten.

Flowering Kale is usually available in 6" or 1 gallon containers in the fall.
