General Floral Greens Care: Keep the water in the vase of your Ti Leaves fresh. Replace the water every 3 days with cool water keeping the water level near the top of the vase.

Re-cut 1/2" from the base of each Ti Leaves stem under water using a sharp knife with each water change. Remove any foliage that may become submerged after re-cutting.

Variety note: There are many new hybrid "Hawaiian Ti" plant varieties available for use in the floral trade and the interior plant industry. Many of the colorful varieties are better suited to the floral trade as the foliage tends to spot when kept as a inside house plant. Ti leaves are available in solid green and colorful variegated varieties. Large Ti leaves are about 5" wide and 24" to 28" long. Small Ti leaves measure about 3" wide by 12" to 18" long.

Add a commercial floral preservative such as AquaPlus or FloraLife to the vase that contains your Ti Leaves with each water change. Floral preservative helps to prevent bacterial growth, aids in keeping vase water clear, and feeds your flowers and foliages insuring a longer vase life.

If you run out of commercial flower preservative you can make your own fresh cut flower food mix 1/2 teaspoon of table sugar to a quart of cold water... mixing thoroughly.
