Plant Zonal Geraniums in full sun to partial shade in fertile, well drained soil either in beds or containers. Space plants 10" - 12" apart. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Zonal geraniums are most often  grown in containers... which can be brought indoors to a sunny window before first frost.

There are two types of Zonal Geraniums. Those that are grown from seed... which generally have small single flower heads and a petite growth habit with limey green foliage. Seed Geraniums are usually less expensive and are commonly used for mass plantings in beds. The second type... which the Designer series belongs to, are propagated by cuttings.
